Biography

Tatyana Rudenko (22.12.1953, Tbilisi, Georgia). She graduated from Vitebsk Pedagogical Institute (1976), taught there (1976 - 1982). She worked at Vitebsk plant «Mastatstva» (1986 - 2009). A participant of art exhibitions since 1976. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1990). She lives in Vitebsk.

The artist works in the industry of decorative art (tapestry, batik), stage decoration, jewelry art, easel painting.

Her major works are: (in co. with Yu.Rudenko): the tapestries «Listopad», «Earth» (1987), «Comet», «Shadow of the Rainbow», «Eclipse», «Centuries», «Lake Land» (1993), the scenery for the theater «Evening Performance» (1983), «The Solemn One» (1986), «Fern Flower» (1987), «The Golden One» (1989); batiks «First Flowers» (1981), «Lilac» (1990), «Japanese Acacia», «Planet» (1991), «Sunrise» (1992), «The Universe», «White Night», «Wildflowers» (1994 ); the works in mixed and the author's technique «The Beginning» (1988), «Cloud» (1989), «Dried Flowers» (1991), «Winter Dream», «July Night», «Distant Island» (1992), «The Last Leaf» «Code of Life» (1995), a triptych «Jerusalem» (2007); a lot of jewelry, including symbolic feathers – the prizes to journalists of the III International festival «Slavyanski Bazaar».

The works are kept in National Art Museum of Belarus, Vitebsk Art Museum, the funds of Belarusian Union of Artists, Diocesan Museum in Katowice (Poland).
