Biography

Medvetsky Viktor (28.08.1952, v-ge Adamovka, Chashniky district, Vitebsk region.) - Belarusian artist. He graduated from Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute (1975). He was taught by F.Gumen, I.Stolyarov. A participant of art exhibitions since 1975. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1987). Lives in Vitebsk.

The artist works in easel and monumental painting. Among the works are: a series «All Over High-efficiency Construction Projects of Siberia» (1981), the compositions «Brigadier» (1976), «Old Well» (1979), «Waiting» (1979), «Dreadful Height» (1981), «Autumn Motif» (1981), «Nest» (1982), «Bathhouses» (1983), «Blooming Salvia» (1984), «Thirst» (1984) «It's time to Hay» (1985), «Morning» (1986), «Still Life with Cranberries» (1986), «Stork's House» (1986), «In Autumn» (1986), «Meeting» (1987), «Storks» ( 1987), «Music» (1987), «Sunshower» (1987), «March» (1987), «The Call of Spring» (1999), «To Autumn» (2002), «Maladzіk» (2004), «Morning» (2005), «Holy Lake» (2008), «The Scarlet Sail» (2010), «White Night» (2012), «Dawn» (2012 ) «Motion» (2012) and others.
