Biography

Litvin Alexey  (06.06.1975, Vitebsk). He graduated from Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute (1998). He worked as a teacher of Art and Choreography Departments of Verhnedvinsk Art School, as a choreographer at State Academic Theater named after Yakub Kolas, as a coach and choreographer of figure skating at Vitebsk Ice Palace. Alexey Vladimirovich is the winner of Belarusian and foreign festivals. He is the participant of more than forty exhibitions, as well as various All-Belarusian and international open airs. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1999). He lives in Vitebsk.

The creativity of Alexey Litvin is not typical for Belarusian cultural environment, but it fits perfectly into the European context. And his passion for choreography creates an interesting symbiosis – the images in his paintings are the result of a combination of elements of animal dance and artist's fantasy, where chaotic shapes and sharp color contrasts perfectly reflects the entire palette of his emotions.

The list of his major works includes: «Morning» (1998), «Wedding Ceremony», «Grandfather is in the Bathroom», «La Moth», «Laying the Eggs», «R-r I Do not Articulate» (2003), «Rosette» (2004); «Self-portrait with a Picture of a Girl», «Into Oneself», «Guest», «Two Places», «Women's Death», «Origins», «To God», «No way», «Trash» and others.
