Biography

 

Karashkevich Inga (18.05.1986, village Borovka, Verhnedvinsk district, Vitebsk region), Belarusian artist. She was graduated from the Faculty of Art and Graphics of the Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov. Inga Karashkevich worked as the teacher in children's art school in Gorodok in 2008 (2008 – 2010). From 2011 to 2013 she was the head of the children's art circle in the Cultural Institution «House of Culture» in the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk. Since 2013, I. Karashkevich has been an artist and production designer at the animation studio of the Nation Film Studio «Belarusfilm». She is the member of the Belarusian Union of Artist (2014).

Painting of Inga Karashkevich is coloristic rich, expressive. There is an academic tradition and features of postmodernism – irony, play, appeal to folk art, literature and history in her painting. Her art projects include «Malutta» (2008), «Grand Duke Vitovt» (2010), «Baba and koziuk», «Carlson's wife» (2011), «Mark», «Musicians» (diptych), «Family» (2012), «Amur», «Evening» (2013), «The night city», «Grey still-life» (2014), «Goblets» (triptych), «Peonies for mother», «Smile» (2015), «Anomaly», «Rowan still-life», «Temptation» (2016).
