Biography
Vladimir Bazan takes part in exhibitions since 1973. The artist is the laureate of Lenin Komsomol of Vitebsk region Award for the series of works Children (1985). The photos of the earthquake in Armenia were recognized with the first prize in East Germany during the photo exhibition «Infoscanbaltic» organized by ZEISS Praktica company. V. Bazan was awarded with a gold medal of VDNKh of the USSR for the photo series Think, chap! about a juvenile prison (1987), the Medal for Excellence at the exhibition «The Epoch Times First Grand Photography Competition» for the photo Checkers (2007, the USA).
Personal exhibitions of the photographic artist were held in Lithuania (Kaunas, 1987; Vilnius, 2003), Estonia (Tallinn, 1989), Latvia (Daugavpils, 2001; Riga, 2007), Poland (Goleniów, 1998), Germany (Hamm, 1993; Nienburg, 1998, Hamburg, 2006), Oslo (2005), Spain (Cordoba, 2006, 2007), Belarus (Baranovichi, Borisov, Slonim, Brest, Minsk, Vitebsk), France (Paris, 2010).
