Dezhits Valentin Konstantinovich (09.03.1904, Helsinki, Finland – 29.12.1964, Vitebsk), Belarusian painter and teacher. He graduated from Vitebsk Art College (1926), Higher Art and Technical Institute in Leningrad (1930). He was taught by V.Volkov, K. Petrov-Vodkin. In 1931–41 he had been teaching at Art College, in 1948–64 – at Art and Graphic Pedagogical College, and later at Art and Graphic Department of Pedagogical Institute in Vitebsk. Since 1946 Valentin Konstantinovich became a member of Belarusian Union of Artists.

Valentin Konstantinovich worked in the genre of thematic paintings and landscape. One of the central themes – lyrical landscapes of Vitebsk and its surroundings.

Among the works are: «Passer-by» (1932), «Depot» (1932), «The Town in Winter» (1937), «Last Pedestrians» (1946), «January, 9» (1947), «Spring is coming» (1956), «On Vitebsk pier» (1958), «Morning on the Vit'ba» (1958), «March» (1960),«Forest to Vitebsk» (1961) and others.

His works are kept in the National Art Museum of Belarus, the funds of Belarusian Union of Artists, Vitebsk Regional Museum.
