Biography

Ivanov Boris (26.11.1952, v-ge. Timkovichy Kopyl district, Minsk region), Belarusian artist. He graduated from Minsk Art College named after Glebov (1971), Belarusian State Academy of Arts (1993). Since 1996 Boris Georgievich is a member of Belarusian Union of Artists. Lives in Orsha.

The artist works in easel painting and drawing. Conceptual imagery, rhythmically complex compositions, appeal to abstraction are inherent in his works.

Among the major works are: «The Space in the Green» (1998), «Understanding» (2000), «Golden Bowl» (2003), «Leaving Movement» (2008), cycles «Colors Plastic» (1985-86), «Black Space» (1995), «Space» (2000), «Bowl» (2002), «Dialogue with Kharon» (2009), a series of works on biblical subjects (1993-98), «Pilgrims» (1993-94), «Space» (1993-95), «Games Disk Saw» (2009), and others.
