Biography

 

Ladisov Oleg (24.11.1953, urban-type settlement Obol, Shumilinsky district, Vitebsk region), Belarusian artist. He graduated from Minsk Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages, Belarusian Theatre and Art Institute (Department of Art History and Theory, 1986). Since 1986 he is a participant of art exhibitions. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1989). Until 2003 he lived in Polotsk, now – in Minsk.
Oleg Ivanovich works in easel painting, drawing and performance.

His major works are: «White Lilies», «The One Who Collects the Ears», «Red on Green», «Dance», «Infanta», «Pierrot and Harlequin», «Prayer»; graphic sheets: «Through the Centuries», «Plant a Flower in the Garden of Eden», «White Cross»; «Wrap the book!»; performances «Short Map», «White Zikurat», «Winners Blues».

The artist's canvases are kept in the collections of Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, in the galleries «Moscow Palette» (Moscow), «Podlyaska» (Biała Podlaska, Poland), in private collections in Belarus, Russia, Poland, Germany and Israel.
