Exhibitions
Yuri Chernyak created more than 60 museum and 20 exhibition expositions between 1970 and 2006. Among them are the project of Rosson Museum of the Partisan Movement (1976), the Museum of the 43rd Army, liberated the city of Vitebsk (1984), the project of the Museum of History of Vitebsk Police (1991), Vitebsk city museum of soldiers-internationalists (1995), House-Museum of Mark Shagal in Vitebsk (1997), Museum of Vitebsk energy system (2003), projects of the museums of Vitebsk power grid (2004), Lukoml state district power plant and the city of Novolukoml (2005).
Yuri Chernyak is a prize-winner and laureate of more than 30 exhibitions took place in Vitebsk, Minsk, Smolensk, Moscow, Finland and Canada. Among which are Achievement of the National economy USSR «Human work is held in high esteem» (1987), I all-USSR exhibition of decorative art and design (1980), I and II Republican exhibitions of decorative art (1979; 1986). Yuri Chernyak became the winner of the Vitebsk festival of creative intellectuals «Constellation of the muses» in the category «Artist of the year» in 1997. He was awarded the medal of the Belarusian Union of Artists for services to art.
