Biography
Lisovska Natalia (07.11. 1958, v-ge Zaborovye, Senno district, Vitebsk region). Belarussian artist of decorative and applied arts. She graduated from Minsk Art College named after A. Glebov (1978), Vitebsk Technological Institute of Light Industry (1983). Since 1988 Natalia Sergeevna has been teaching at Vitebsk State Technological University at Design Department, Associate Professor (1993). She is a member of Belarussian Union of Artists (since 1994). Lives in Vitebsk.
Works in tapestry, the technique of hand weaving, textile design. Natalia Sergeevna is the author and developer of design and tissue structures, introduced in production at Belarussian enterprises.
Among her works are: «Flowering» (1978), «Two Lives» (1982), «Summer Rain. Rainbow» (1988), «Town» (1990), «The Laks of Vitebsk Region» (1990), «It is Raining in Vitebsk» (1991), «Spring. Snowdrops» (1991), «My Willows» (1993), «Flowering Meadows» (1995), «Ancient Manuscripts» (1996), «A Cold Day» (1998), «Sunny Year» (2003), «Morning» (2008), «The Trees are Dying Without Roots» (2008), «Winter Window» (2009), etc.
Natalia Sergeevna is the author of several scientific articles, manuals on art designing of textiles.
His works are kept in Vitebsk Art Museum, Marc Chagall Art Center, Novopolotsk Museum of History and Culture, private collections in Belarus, Poland, USA, Germany.
