Biography

Schastnaya Nadezhda (12.09.1957, v-ge Ivanovka, Gorodok district, Vitebsk region - 17.03.1997, Vitebsk), Belarusian artist. She graduated from The Decoration and Modeling of Textile and Light Industry Department of Vitebsk Technological Institute (1984). After graduation he worked at Vitebsk carpet factory, the factory of artistic goods. Since 1993 – she is a lecturer at the Department of Design, VSTI. A participant of art exhibitions since 1986. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1996). She lived in Vitebsk.

She worked mainly in easel graphic art and tapestry.

The major works are: the letters «In Dotted Line», «Voices», «Loneliness of the Star», «Window in the Night», «This Blue, Blue Colour», «Angel»; the series «When the Clouds Were Floating», «Letter», «Lantern», «Black and White», «Town Flowers».
