Biography

 

Lisitsa Tamara (10.12.1956, village Pribytki, Gomel region, Gomel district), Belarusian artist of arts and crafts. She graduated from Minsk Art College named after A. Glebov (1977), Vitebsk Technological Institute of Light Industry (1989). He teaches at Vitebsk State College of Culture and Art (2004). A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1999).

The dominant sphere of creative interests – art textiles made in the technique of hand-weaving. The classic tendency of modern tapestry art can be seen in the landscapes by Tamara Lisitsa. Balanced composition, restraint silver-blue with ocher-brownish color accents, intonations pastaralnasts and accurately measure found weave real landscape and its stylization in the material give the usual explanation of the sublime, elevated, romantic sound. Her compositions are a good example of a modern interpretation of the style and spirit of contemporary wallpaper.

Among the major works are: tapestries «Winter Evening» (1999), «March» (1999), «Blossom» (1999), «Village» (2000), «Winter Day» (2001), «Pink Sunset» (2001), triptychs «Ecology» (1998), «Hot Summer» (1999), «The Last Butterfly of the Summer» (2000) and others.
