Art Exhibitions of M. Tsybulsky

 

Mikhail Tsybulsky regularly participates in international and national scientific conferences, symposia, scientific and methodical seminars, taking place in the cities of Daugavpils (Latvia), Rome (Italy), Sejny, Lodz (Poland), Kaunas (Lithuania), St. Petersburg (Russia), Minsk, Grodno, Mogilev, Vitebsk (Belarus).

Being a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists, Tsybulski takes an active part in the cultural life of Vitebsk, supervises the exhibitions and art events, a number of town and national events of artistic, historical and local lore orientation. As a curator and art critic he has participated in international projects «Daugavpils – Vitebsk», group projects of the artists «Castle», «There was a War», «Etna», «Panteonika», «13», «Artifact», binnenale «Watercolor Commonwealth», he also took part in the organization of «Vitebsk Watercolors» community, personal exhibitions of the artists from Vitebsk.

In recent years, the artist is the curator of the international scientific creative symposium «Watercolors: traditions and experiments in the space of contemporary art» (Polotsk, 2007), the curator and coordinator of the II Scientific Conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Y. Drozdovich's birth (Vitebsk, 2008), the curator of the international scientific and creative project «Dialogue of Art Schools», in the framework of which the scientific and creative workshop and exhibition of watercolors is organized (Vitebsk, 2008), the curator of the international project «Vitebsk Railway Station» with the participation of the artists of from Mexico, Russia and Belarus (Vitebsk, 2008), the international photography exhibition «A Day in Riga» (Vitebsk, 2008). By the invitation of the Lithuanian Artists' Association M. Tsybulsky was the curator of the special project «Belarusian Watercolors: space interpretations» within the framework of the international biennale of watercolors «Baltic Bridges» in Kaunas (Lithuania, 2008). Mikhail Tsybulsky is the author and curator of the international project-exhibition «Signs of Time» with the participation of Latvian and Belarusian artists working in the field of graphics (Vitebsk, 2008, Daugavpils, 2009; Riga, 2010).

M. Tsybulsky works in oil and gouache painting. He is a member of about three dozen international and national art exhibitions in Germany, France, Poland, Latvia, Belarus. He has participated in several international plein airs in Reburg (Germany), «East – West» in Gorlice (Poland), the national open-airs named after Y. Drozdovich, V. Korotkevich, the national open air devoted to Napoleon Orda (Belarus) and others. Tsybulsky was the head of international plein airs «TAKA» with the participants from Latvia, Belarus, Lithuania (Daugavpils, 2004, 2006).

М. Tsybulsky takes an active part in public life of the country being a scientific consultant in the publishing house «Belarusian entsyklapedyya» (Minsk), a member of the Scientific Council of Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local History, a scientific reviewer for a number of editions of Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local History, a member of the international scientific and editorial council of the conference «PERSON. COLOR. NATURE. MUSIC» (Daugavpils, Latvia), a chairman and a member of the jury of a number of children and youth art contests.
