Biography

Lukyanov Viktor (27.02.1940, v-ge Vlasovo, Vitebsk district, Vitebsk region), Belarusian artist. He graduated from Vitebsk Art and Graphic Pedagogical College (1956 Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute (1967). A participant of art exhibitions since 1964. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1973). Lives in Novopolotsk.

The artist works primarily in watercolors.

Among the works are: thematic compositions «Braslav Fishermen» (1975), «On a High-powered Construction» (1976), a triptych «At Vitebsk Carpet Complex» (1978), «Suraż-Vitebsk» (1984), landscapes «Novopolotsk. 4th District» (1971), «The Land of Polotsk - old and young» (1972), «On the Western Dvina» (1978), «First Snow» (1998), «Antiquity» (1999), still lives «Bread» (1970), «Wild Flowers» (1987), «Butterfly» (1990), «Samovary» (1997), «Autumn Flowers» (1999). The author of the monumental painting «Memory» in the museum of military glory (Polotsk, 1972), «The Legend of Old Polotsk» (Cafe «Vityaz», 1979), «Belaya Rus» (cinema «Minsk», 1981).
