Biography

Mikhailova Galina (21.08.1946, Vitebsk), Belarusian artist. She graduated from Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute named after S. M. Kirov (1968). Galina Mikhailovna taught at Mozyr Pedagogical Institute (1968-1970), Vitebsk Technological Institute of Light Industry (1979-1981). A participant of art exhibitions (since 1976). A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1989). Lives in Vitebsk.

Galina Mikhailovna works in easel and monumental painting.

Among the works are: pictorial composition «Spring» (1975), «Motherhood» (1988), «Nearby Lake Losvido» (1991), «Slobodka» (1991), «Still Life with Roses» (1991), «Peonies» (1992) «Portrait of a Woman» (1993), «Wild Flowers» (2001); graphic sheets «Roman Pantheon» (2005), «Brandenburg Gate» (2005), «Westminster. London» (2005). Galina Mikhailovna is the author of monumental painting «Victory» (1975), «Friendship of Peoples» (1976), «Fairy Tale» (1976), «Native Land» (1981), «Green Pharmacy» (1982), «Ruslan and Lyudmila» (1987), «Golden Rooster» (1988), «Beloved City» (1989), « Heritage» (2003) and others.
