Biography

 

Tankovich Georgy (15.01.1946, v-ge Erashovo, Shumilino district, Vitebsk region), Belarusian artist. He graduated from Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Kirov (1969). He was taught by I. Stolyarov, F. Gumen. A participant of art exhibitions since 1969. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1991). He lives in Novopolotsk.

The artist works in watercolors.

The major works are: the paintings «Still Life with Flowers», «Window», «Yard», «Still Life with Cactus», «Night in the Country», «The First Snow», «Water Lilies», «Before the Bad Weather»; a triptych «Skaryna's Homeland».
