Biography
Boltrushevich Alexey (12.08.1979, Novopolotsk, Vitebsk region), a Belarusian artist. He graduated from Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov (2001). The artist published a book of poems «Bloody Mary» (2004). He carried out the design of a figurine for the music festival «ULTRA MUZIK AWARDS» (2011). Alexey took part in the Belarusian-Polish competition of graphic projects «We» (2012). He is a participant of exhibitions and art projects, youth plein airs («In Search of Atlantis», named after Ya. Drazdovich). Since 2011 he is a member of young artists and art experts' subdivision of the public association «Belarusian Union of Artists». The artist is a member of Vitebsk branch of «Belarusian Union of Artists» (2014). He lives in Novopolotsk.
The artist works in painting in the landscape genre. Alexey Boltrushevich is considered to be a daring experimentalist. He possesses a great temperament, skill and individual style. Among his works are: «Begonia. Flowers» (2011), «Spring-Summer» (2011), «The Village of Bychki», «Chip Plot», «Summer», «Footpath to Home» (2012), «Fish-1», «Fish-2», «Fish-3» (2013), «Sun in the Courtyard», «Early Morning» (2014) and others.
