Biography

Litvin Vladimir (20.04.1949, village Martynovka, Chernigov region, Bakhmachsky district, Ukraine). Portrait painter, works in the technique of painting. Graduated from the Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Kirov (1972). Teachers: E. Krasovsky, I. Stolyarov, G. Klikushin, D. Generalnitsky. Lives in Vitebsk.

The creativity of the artist Vladimir Litvin has been recognized by the Belarusian Orthodox Church, laureate diplomas and certificates. Editions of the author's works are located in Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Greece, France, USA, as well as in the Presidential and National Libraries of the Republic of Belarus. The article with the creative biography of V.E. Litvin is included in the international encyclopedia «WHO IS WHO IN REPUBLIK OF BELARUS» (© «Encyclopedics», Minsk, 2009).

She has been actively involved in creative and exhibition activities since 2000. There have been 16 personal exhibitions with various author's projects, among which are «Tree» (the theme of the family as a «domestic church»), «Before Your Image», «Nourishing the Image with Faith» (iconographic scenes and their interpretations), «Portrait of the City», «Gallery of Portraits of Famous Vitebsk Citizens».
