Biography

Alexey Evseev (04.06.1979, Gorodok, Vitebsk region), Belarusian artist. He graduated from the Department of Art and Graphics of Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov (2001). The artist works in various techniques and materials of arts and crafts, painting, graphics, sculpture. Alexey Evseev is a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists (since 2016).

The works by Alexey Evseev have individual plastic solution, complex images, extraordinary plots and intricate symbols. He creates three-dimensional objects, installations, where he combines wood, metal, plastic and other materials. The main task of his objects is to emphasize the natural beauty, simplicity and harmony created by nature. Among his works are the following: «The Wind in the City» (2010), «The Lady and the Elephant» (2010), «Appeal to the Sun» (2010), «The Uniform» (2011), «Noon» (2011), «Dawn» (2011), «The Hour of Cube» (2011), «Origins» (2012), «June Day: Morning, Afternoon, Evening» (2012), « Dream» (2012), «The Throne: Prince and Princess» (diptych, 2012), «The Window of Thought» (2012), «The Sun of Kazimir» (2013), «Alpha and Omega» (2014), « The Wheel of War» (2014), «The Funeral Feast» (2014), «Iron Fruit» (2015), «The Spear of Olgerd» (2016).
