Biography

Rybalkina Maya (05.06.1925, Irkutsk, Russia - 01.06.1985, Vitebsk), Belarusian artist. She graduated from Kostroma Art College (1947), Moscow Textile Institute (1952). A participant of art exhibitions since 1963. A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1985). She lived in Vitebsk.

She worked in the field of textile decoration, in small plastic. She created a number of models of knitted wear and embroidery images for different products. She created Belarusian souvenirs made of wood in the technique of small plastic.
