Biography

 

Gavazyuk Vladimir (12.10.1954, Odessa, Ukraine), a Belarusian artist. He graduated from the Minsk Art College (1974), the Belarusian Theatre and Art Institute (1982). Vladimir Gavazyuk studied under G. Vashchenko. Since 1978 he participates in art exhibitions. Since 1993 he is a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists. The artist lives in Novopolotsk.

V. Gavazyuk works in the field of monumental and decorative art (mosaics, stained glass, murals).

Among his major works are: murals in the library named after V. Mayakovsky, «Rhythms of the City» in the cafe of the college № 89, «Famous Humanitarians and Enlighteners of the Polotsk Land», «Seasons»; stained glasses «Forest Tales», «Reflection» in the Polytechnic Institute (all are in Novopolotsk); watercolor triptych «Stars are Falling», etc.
