Biography

Domanov Alexander (10.03.1940, Klintsy, Bryansk Region, Russia — 19.04.2014, Vitebsk), a Belarusian artist. He graduated from the Art and Graphics Department of Zlatoust Teachers College in 1973. Since 1990, he participated in art exhibitions, and in 1996 became a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists. Alexander Vasilyevich lived in Vitebsk.

The artist worked in easel painting in the genres of landscape and still life. The density and saturation of color, freshness and coloration are inherent in his works.

Among his major works are: the canvases «Birches», «Spring», «Sunflowers», «Wind», «Autumn», «Winter. Vitba River», «March», «Rural Landscape».
