Alexander Karpan is a participant of regional, republican, all-union and international exhibitions since 1979.

The works of A. Karpan are kept in the collections of Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, Vitebsk Art Museum, the Department of Culture of Nienburg (Germany), Department of Culture of Wetzlar (Germany), the Union of Artists of Bremen (Germany), the society of Belarusian and German friendship of Cuxhaven (Germany), as well as in private collections in Austria, England, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Ireland, Canada, China, Latvia, Poland, Russia, the USA, the Ukraine, France, Czech Republic and Estonia.

Alexander Karpan participated in the national open airs dedicated to Khrutsky, Zaryanko, Drozdovich, Sikora, Bykov and Borodulin.

A member of watercolours international biannual exhibition in the cities of St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk (Russia), Kaunas (Lithuania), Vitebsk, Polotsk (Belarus), Shenzhen (China). He was awarded the Jubilee Medal of Society Watercolours of St. Petersburg.
