Biography
Cruk Viktor (03.05.1949 v-ge Kryukovschina, Dribin district, Mogilev region), Belarusian painter. He graduated from Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute (1972). A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1996). The artist lives in Sharkovschina, Vitebsk region.
The artist works in easel painting and graphics. The works are characterized by expressive, careful modeling of form, harmony of color solutions.
Among the works are: watercolors: «Summer Day» (1989), «Portrait of an Old Man» (1990), «Spring in Sharkovschina» (1991), «Portrait of a Girl» (1992), «Priest» (1993), «Lyudmila» (1994 ), «Grandma» (1995); landscapes «Thaw» (1995), «In the Old Park» (1999), «Miory District» (2000), «Łapacinsky's Manor» (2008), «Lepel District» (2009) and others.
The group and single portraits «Winter Open-air at Golubichskaya Dense» (2001). «Me. Drozdovich» (2008), «Vasil Bykov» (2008), «The Artist Skripnichenko» (2009) occupy the central place in artist's creative work.
