Biography

Laktaeva Tatyana (26.06.1955, Vitebsk), Belarusian artist. In 1980 she graduated from Moscow Art School in memory of 1905. Since 1981 by this day she works at Vitebsk complex «Mastatstva». Tatiana Laktaeva took part in regional, republican and town exhibitions (since 1982). A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1997). Lives in Vitebsk.

The artist works in monumental and decorative techniques (stained glass, paintings, woodcarving, mosaics) and easel painting (still-life paintings, landscapes).

The major works of the author are: «The Fool» (1975), «Evening» (1976), «The Widow» (1978), «Self-Portrait» (1985), «Harlequin», «East» (1989), «Lilies» (1992), «Fireballs», «Chrysanthemum» (1994), «Adam and Eve», «Actress», «Columbine», «Autumn», «Gypsy» (1995).
