Biography

 

Privado Sergey (03.05.1961 v-ge Volova Gora, Lepel district – 07.01.2020, Novopolotsk), Belarusian artist. He graduated from the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute (1984). A member of Belarusian Union of Artists (1995). He lived in Novopolotsk.

The artist worked in various graphic techniques: prints, pastels, drawings, easel painting.

Among the works are: graphic compositions «Winter in Town» (1989), «Village» (1990), «Silence» (1998), «Buslyanka Over the Lake» (2000), «Farewell to Summer» (2003), «New Year's Eve» (2004); autolithographies «The Portrait of F. Skorina» (1980), «The Portrait of Yakub Kolas» (1981), «Belarusian Folklore» (1988); series «Architectural Monuments of Belarus» (1983), «Belarusian National Holidays»; the cycles of pastels «Braslav Distirct» (1991) ; watercolors «Polotsk District – Lake Land» (1988), «The Islands on Remote Lakes» (2004). Sergey Petrovich is the author of paintings «Dvina Stones» (2008), «Lepel District» (2008), «Winter Evening» (2009) and others; the cycles of pastels «Braslav Distirct» (1991); watercolors «Polotsk District – Lake Land» (1988), «The Islands on Remote Lakes» (2004).
