Biography

Kostogryz Oleg (11.08.1960, Kobuleti, Georgia), Belorussian graphic artist and painter. He graduated from Art and Graphic Department of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute  named after S. Kirov (1986). He works as a teacher of Graphics Painting, Composition at Fine Arts Department of VSU named after P. Masherov (since 1989), Associate Professor (2007). He is a member of Creative Union «Vitebsk Watercolours» (1995). Since 1997 he is a member of Union of Artists. He lives in Vitebsk.

The artist works in easel painting, graphics, watercolors. The important role in his work play animal painting, mythological and legendary painting, nude art, abstract painting. His works are characterized by philosophical, sometimes romantic orientation, experiments with color and texture.
